5 Lifting up his eyes, then, and seeing that a large crowd was coming toward him, Jesus said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat?”6 He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do.7 Philip answered him, “Two hundred denarii would not buy enough bread for each of them to get a little.”8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said to him,9 “There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are they for so many?”10 Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, about five thousand in number.11 Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish, as much as they wanted.12 And when they had eaten their fill, he told his disciples, “Gather up the leftover fragments, that nothing may be lost.”13 So they gathered them up and filled twelve baskets with fragments from the five barley loaves left by those who had eaten.14 When the people saw the sign that he had done, they said, “This is indeed the Prophet who is to come into the world!”
Luke 9
12 Now the day began to wear away, and the twelve came and said to him, “Send the crowd away to go into the surrounding villages and countryside to find lodging and get provisions, for we are here in a desolate place.”13 But he said to them, “You give them something to eat.” They said, “We have no more than five loaves and two fish—unless we are to go and buy food for all these people.”14 For there were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, “Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each.”15 And they did so, and had them all sit down.16 And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing over them. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd.17 And they all ate and were satisfied. And what was left over was picked up, twelve baskets of broken pieces.
Mark 6
35 And when it grew late, his disciples came to him and said, “This is a desolate place, and the hour is now late.36 Send them away to go into the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat.”37 But he answered them, “You give them something to eat.” And they said to him, “Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give it to them to eat?”38 And he said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” And when they had found out, they said, “Five, and two fish.”39 Then he commanded them all to sit down in groups on the green grass.40 So they sat down in groups, by hundreds and by fifties.41 And taking the five loaves and the two fish he looked up to heaven and said a blessing and broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples to set before the people. And he divided the two fish among them all.42 And they all ate and were satisfied.43 And they took up twelve baskets full of broken pieces and of the fish.44 And those who ate the loaves were five thousand men.
Mark 8
1 In those days, when again a great crowd had gathered, and they had nothing to eat, he called his disciples to him and said to them,2 “I have compassion on the crowd, because they have been with me now three days and have nothing to eat.3 And if I send them away hungry to their homes, they will faint on the way. And some of them have come from far away.”4 And his disciples answered him, “How can one feed these people with bread here in this desolate place?”5 And he asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven.”6 And he directed the crowd to sit down on the ground. And he took the seven loaves, and having given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to set before the people; and they set them before the crowd.7 And they had a few small fish. And having blessed them, he said that these also should be set before them.8 And they ate and were satisfied. And they took up the broken pieces left over, seven baskets full.
Matthew 14
15 At sa pagsapit ng takipsilim, ang kaniyang mga alagad ay lumapit sa kaniya na sinasabi, “Ito ay isang ilang na lugar at lumipas na ang oras. Pauwiin mo ang napakaraming tao upang sila ay pumunta sa mga nayon at makabili ng mga pagkain para sa kanilang sarili.”16 Ngunit sinabi ni Jesus sa kanila, “Hindi nila kinakailangang umalis. Bigyan ninyo sila ng makakain.”17 At sinabi nila sa kaniya, “Wala tayong anuman dito maliban sa limang tinapay at dalawang isda.”18 Kaya sinabi niya, “Dalhin ninyo rito sa akin ang mga iyon.”19 At inutusan niya ang napakaraming tao na umupo sa damuhan. At pagkakuha niya sa limang tinapay at dalawang isda, siya ay tumingala sa langit at kaniyang pinagpala at pagkatapos niyang pinagputol-putol ang mga tinapay ay kaniyang ibinigay sa kaniyang mga alagad at ang mga alagad sa napakaraming tao.20 At silang lahat ay kumain at nabusog. Pagkatapos ay inipon nila ang mga lumabis na mga piraso ng tinapay at napuno ang labindalawang bakol.21 At sila na nakakain ay halos limang libong lalaki bukod sa mga babae at mga bata.
Matthew 15
32 Kaya tinawag ni Jesus ang kaniyang mga alagad at sinabi, “Nahahabag ako sa napakaraming tao sapagkat tatlong araw na silang nananatiling kasama ko at sila ay walang anumang makakain. At hindi ko ibig na paalisin silang hindi kumain baka sila ay manghina sa daan.”33 Subalit sinabi sa kaniya ng kaniyang mga alagad, “Saan tayo kukuha sa ilang ng napakaraming tinapay upang mabusog ang napakaraming taong ito?”34 Kaya sinabi ni Jesus sa kanila, “Ilang tinapay ang mayroon kayo?” At sinabi nila, “Pito at kaunting maliliit na isda.”35 At kaniyang inutusan ang napakaraming tao na umupo sa lupa36 Kinuha niya ang pitong tinapay at ang mga isda at nang siya ay nakapagpasalamat, pinagputul-putol niya ang mga ito at ibinigay sa kaniyang mga alagad at ang mga alagad sa napakaraming tao.37 At silang lahat ay kumain at nabusog. At kanilang pinulot ang mga lumabis na pira-pirasong pagkain at pitong kaing ang napuno.38 At ang mga kumain ay apat na libong lalaki maliban sa mga babae at mga bata.
