Moses stands before the gathered Israelites in the wilderness as water bursts from the rock, answering the desperate thirst of the people during their desert journey. The scene centers on God’s provision in a barren place: elders look on, families draw near, and the flowing stream becomes a visible sign that the Lord sustains His covenant people when no human solution remains. In the biblical account, the rock at Horeb becomes a testimony against unbelief and complaint, yet also a witness to mercy.
